So you got your anthill's Queen to level 16 and just unlocked the Insect System?!

Congratulations: you just got plenty of helping hands to do the heavy lifts! 😸

What's the Insect System?

Ants work in collaboration with a wide range of bigger insects, in a friendly relationship that benefits both sides. That's true on nature and in-game!

There are basically 2 categories of insects:

• Combatants - insects that join your troops to fight for your Queen!
• Developers - stationed insects that help you take care of your anthill!

Developer Insects turn chaos into order inside your busy anthill and increase the productivity of your buildings and external activities. For example, a cute Hermit Crab will nurture your baby soldiers and increase your hatching capacity; while a Locust will give that extra push to your troops outside and make them gather resources faster!

When you combine the power of your Combat Insects with your Special Ants, you get an amazing army that will fight for your team. But it doesn't end there...

As with Special Ants, Insects come in colors as well, according to their rarity: Blue, Purple and Orange. But you will have to star them up to unlock new skills.

To star up your insects, all you have to do is to combine it with another one of the same color and it will unlock a new skill at 3-6-8-9-11+ star levels. 

Development insects will increase productivity when you star them up! 😸

When it comes down to combat insects, the more stars you get, the scarier they'll become to conquer your enemies and they also have their own agenda...

When you reach star level 8, you'll unlock the ability to pair another insect as a Helper to your combat insects.

Pleasing your insects...

Some insects will get grumpy if you try to match them with certain ants! 🙀

Combining the correct Insect with their choice of soldier is essential for a good battle synergy, just like when you matched your Special Ants to your troops.

Here's the relation of Insects by Affinity:

• Carriers - Longhorn Beetle, Scorpion, Emperor Scorpion, Buthacus arenicola
• Guardians - Orchid Mantis, Jumping Spider, Iron Beetle, Stag Beetle, Prosopocoilus Occipitalis
• Shooters - Rove Beetle, Giant Mantis, Devil Flower, Ephestiasula pictipes
• Universal - Orb Weaver, Grapevine Beetle, Atlas Beetle, Gladiator Mantis, Potaminae, Polistes dominula, Cicindela aurulenta , Rainbow Beetle

And the following insects will wander around your anthill, doing errands for you: Ladybug, Locust, Elephus Beetle and Hermit Crab.
